Somehow I found myself working and volunteering with wellbeingeconomy.org and it's Welsh group WEAllCymru and now we are building a full on campaign promoting #wellbeing in Welsh civic space, as a shield against the negative forces of populism and far-right ideology, all too easily embedded in our quest for individualism. Here is an article some of my co-volunteers put together for re-creating and co-creating a Wales where we rebuild the values of kindness, truth, caring and sharing. All very timely as populism rears its ugly head everywhere. It's published online by the Institute of Welsh Affairs.
It's time we wake up the sleeping dragon that we all know lies in the very heart of Wales. The dragon of community. We need to feel like a community to act like one.
